NADA TARKHAN

Flux Perception is an interactive installation that was designed as part of the Boston Illuminus Nuit Blanche Festival. The installation uses state of the art sensing equipment to integrate occupant detection in a 1:1 flow field.

This experiment in real time CFD aspires to expand the field of fluid visualization while creating a user-interactive output interface. This research also hopes to invoke future conversations for simulation engines to input live data from physical sensors while improving computational speeds.

The simulation method used to carry this project out is published in the Proceedings of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) Conference.
